Huntington Bank Appoints Diane L. Dougherty Senior Vice President and Director of Collections

Dougherty Brings Nearly 20 Years of Experience In Mortgage Default and Loss Mitigation

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Huntington National Bank has appointed Diane L. Dougherty as senior vice president and director of collections. Dougherty led credit loss and customer counseling programs for National City Mortgage for seven years, most recently serving as senior vice president of customer counseling and loss mitigation. In her new role, Dougherty is responsible for Huntington's consumer collections programs. She reports to Nick Stanutz, auto finance and dealer services group executive.

Dougherty has worked as a loss mitigation manager in the banking industry since 1990. She began her career as a loss mitigation manager for CitiMortgage Inc. in St. Louis, Mo.

Dougherty served on the Freddie Mac Default Advisory Group in 2009, and was nominated in 2008 for the "Business Woman of Influence Award" sponsored by the Dayton Daily News. Dougherty has served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Dayton since 2005, and is chair of its Resource Development Committee.
