Huntington Names Steven M. Short Director of Huntington Wealth Advisors

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Huntington (NASDAQ: HBAN; www.huntington.com) announced today that it has named Steven M. Short director of Huntington Wealth Advisors. He will report to Daniel Benhase, director of Huntington’s Wealth, Government Finance and Home Lending division.

Short brings 30 years of leadership experience in the wealth management field, including leadership assignments in both trust and brokerage. In his new role at Huntington, Short will oversee the Huntington Wealth Advisors, which includes The Huntington Investment Company, Private Banking, and Personal Trust.

Before joining Huntington, Short served for five years as the CEO of UnionBanc Investment Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Union Bank of California, N.A. In that role, he had overall responsibility for both institutional and retail brokerage operations, as well as Union Bank’s Retirement Solutions Group.

Short received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. He is married with two children.
