Huntington Bank’s Tizu Menelik Named to American Banker’s “Most Powerful Women in Banking: Women to Watch” List
COLUMBUS, Ohio— The Huntington National Bank is proud to announce that Tizu Menelik, executive managing director of Corporate, Specialty & Government Banking (CSG), has been named to American Banker’s “Most Powerful Women in Banking: Women to Watch” list for 2025.
The Most Powerful Women in Banking initiative honors individuals and teams who demonstrate exceptional leadership, strong business performance and a commitment to driving meaningful impact in the financial services industry.
Tizu was selected for her transformative leadership of Huntington’s Corporate, Specialty & Government Banking business, which serves public and private companies with $1B+ in annual revenue through a national platform.
Under her leadership, Huntington has launched several new verticals and expanded its banking capabilities—including Fund Finance, Corporate Mortgage Finance and Native American Financial Services. Her efforts have accelerated the bank’s speed to market and contributed to segment growth, with CSG accounting for approximately 30% of total loans and deposits in 2025.
“Tizu continues to be a driving force behind our success. Her strategic vision, relentless pursuit of excellence and deep commitment to our clients have helped shape the future of our business. Leaders like Tizu inspire us to aim higher and deliver more,” said Scott Kleinman, commercial bank president.
Honorees will be celebrated at the Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance Conference and Gala, held October 21–23 in New York City.
